Teepees and Other Innovative Outdoor Gear.

Arapahoe Outdoors makes ultralight teepees and tents.

Whether it’s thru-hiking the AT, spending a summer working fire lines with a Hotshot crew, backcountry ski tours in the Tetons, or crashing at a Bluegrass festival, our shelters can handle whatever you throw at them.

We proudly make all of our products in America, using American-made materials.

After three years of field testing, this fall Arapahoe Outdoors will offer the best ultralight backcountry shelter ever made. Period.

Our eight person teepee is designed to hold a ton of people and their gear. It’s the perfect shelter for hunting groups, Scout troops, outfitters, families, and packs of concertgoers. The eight-person teepee is made from UV and fire resistant ripstop and relies on our proprietary bonding process. This process is stitch-free, waterproof, and requires no seam tape, sealer, or maintenance. Our tent is nothing short of a four season workhorse. Its single wall design and stove-compatibility ensure you stay warm and dry in the most brutal conditions, yet an abundance of vents allows you to stay cool during summer nights.
